Kelly has a few words now in his repertar (sp?). Here they are:
Mama
Dada/Daddy (da-ye)
No
Yes
Ice
Eyes
Wow
Oh Yeah
Baby
Here's how he uses them:
at 6:30 in the morning he stands in his crib and says Ma Ma over and over until i come let him out of "jail".
If he bangs on the fridge I say "do you want ice?" and he says "ice" (which means apple juice popcicles i make in the ice tray).
He pretty much says no all the time. "no no no no"
And "Dada" when he sees his dad come home at night (he's always really excited).
Some times he gets on my lap and sticks his finger on my eyes and says "eyes" and then points to my nose and then mouth but he can't say those words yet...but he understands them all...like if I say "where's your nose" he can point to it.
When he sees something cool like a helicopter or a bird he says "wow or whoa" and often says "oh yeah" when he makes a good throw :)
